So after researching logo’s I came across the idea of using a signature as a logo. I pitched the idea to the client who responded on Facebook with the following.
To which I sent him the paper prototypes of the logos seen below. I also posted the paper logo prototypes to my peers who also gave me feedback.
It was a unanimous decision that the left signature-logo’s especially the bottom left was seen as ‘classy’. My peers commented that the word pianist either needed to be removed from that particular logo or moved beneath it.
I’ll have to play around with the bottom left logo with the feedback above in mind and come back with a new prototype made in Photoshop CS 5.1 (64-bit) to show the client.
I will however need his signature to complete it (which I’ve already asked for). It needs to be his signature in a dark ink on white paper scanned in or a picture taken by his mobile-phone/camera in good lighting.
